--Training, group classes and initial assessments must be paid for upon booking - this is required to secure the spot. Training/group classess/initial assessments are refundable up to 3 days before the session. If you fail to attend your training/group session/initial assessment, the session is not transferable to a different date nor refundable.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your training/group/initial assessment, we may not be able to take you for the remainder of your booked time.
Cancellations or requests to transfer a date must be sent in written format such as email/WhatsApp/text.
--Boarding and Board and Train stays require a 20% deposit to book - we do not hold spaces without a deposit.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Your boarding stay must be fully paid 14 days before your dogs stay. We cannot accept any dogs where the bill isn't paid in full. If for any reason you collect your dog early, the remainder of your dogs bill is not refundable. Bookings are non-refundable 21 days from your dogs stay.
We do not offer refunds for cancelled holidays for any reason whatsoever.
--Daycare sessions must be fully paid 3 days before the session commences. 3 days notice must be given for daycare cancellation. If you don't arrive for your dogs daycare session, or cancel within the 3 day period, a 30% cancellation fee will be added to your next daycare session.
--Board and train services come with all of the above conditions, and a unique set of terms that are tailored to your specific dog and situation, and we will email you in advance of your dogs stay. Booking, paying, and dropping off your dog constitutes your agreement with the terms as set out in the email.
Board and Train programs:
--Board and train programs must be paid in full at least 14 days before the start date, no exceptions.
--A 20% deposit is required to hold your board and train space and is non-refundable.
--Due to the nature of board and train programs, we may contact you to discuss lengthening your dogs board and train. While this may happen incredibly rarely, we will not recommend this without serious due cause, such as behavioural issues that occur at any time during the board and train, or behaviours being more serious than initially thought. We will send you a detailed email outlining the reasons for recommending a lengthening of the board and train program. If you decided to not lengthen the board and train, we cannot guarantee the dog will be ready to come home and behave in a manner appropriate to a trained dog. While we will do everything in our power to assist you, if we recommended a lengthening to your board and train program and you didn't agree, your dogs behaviour at home cannot be predicted by us.
--We are not responsible for a dogs behaviour deteriorating once they're home after a board and train. We will provide you with extensive support which includes 1 on 1 sessions for the duration of your dogs board and train ie, (if your dog stayed with us for 1 week, you can book a complimentary session for up to 1 week after a dog goes home, if your dog stayed for 3 weeks, you can book a complimentary session for up to 3 weeks after the dogs goes home - these complimentary sessions are at our discretion and subject to us prescribing them) and detailed instructions on how to live with your dog upon their arrival. If these steps are not followed, a dog will revert to bad behaviours. If a dogs behaviour deteriorates we will require video of the behaviours and a detailed report on the events before, during and after.
--If you cancel a board and train for any reason, you must give us at least 21 days notice. If you cancel your board and train inside those 21 days, a refund will not be given under any circumstances, and we cannot guarantee a transfer of dates. We will transfer dates if we can, but it is unlikely.
EMERGENCIES/ILLNESS:
--We will contact you immediately, or the moment we've contacted our emergency vet, or your dog's vet, and a medical plan is underway. We will have your vet's details and emergency numbers, and also have emergency procedures in place to ensure your dog receives prompt and appropriate care. Please note that The Royal Canine Academy are not responsible for vet bills during your dogs stay. If your dog causes damage to another dog, or to our property this will also be added to your final bill. Any vet bills will be added to your bill and will be payable on collection.

--While The Royal Canine Academy will take every precaution to ensure your dogs safety and good health, vaccinated dogs can still contract Kennel Cough and other illnesses going about their daily life. Because a dog can catch viruses from any area another dog has been, such as out on a walk, jumping in and out of a car, sniffing public areas, visiting family etc. we cannot take responsibility for any virus that your dog develops while in our care. We make sure every dog that passes through our doors is fully vaccinated with primary vaccinations, up-to-date boosters and kennel cough, and we clean and sanitise to the highest standards using industry standard kennel cleaner that kills all bacteria and viruses including Canine Parvovirus. By using our daycare and boarding services, you accept these risks, and understand that we are not liable nor responsible for vet bills as a result of these illnesses.

FOOD/ALLERGY CONTROL:
We require that you bring enough food for your dogs stay. Its important your dog doesn't change their diet drastically, otherwise they may become unwell during their stay. If your dog's stay with us long-term, we'll organise appropriate food with you. If your dog has allergies, you must notify us upon booking. Any allergy that isn't brought to our attention cannot be prepared for, and as a result we are not responsible for injury or death caused by allergies.

This can result in bite injuries, injuries from the environment, loss of fur, open wounds, developing a virus, bacterial infection or parasites, abrasions, and on rare occasion, death. While we will take every precaution to prevent these injuries from occuring, we are not responsible nor liable for any injury caused to your dog while in our care or attending for training.
